Hello Again
It's been a while, but i've decided to come back and revamp, update, upgrade!
Went on a marvelous excursion yesterday with Natalia to the little town of Rio Vista, Ca.
Rio Vista is situated on the Sacramento River Delta in Solano County. A gorgeous part of the state, wonderful notions of untouched land out there. The town has one main street, and radiates preservation. The greatest attraction of the town is no doubt "Foster's Bighorn"- a bar that has collected over 250 specimans from Africa and North America.
Other than Foster's one gets the feeling that the people of Rio Vista aren't so used to seeing many out of towners pass through, and the residents cannot decide whether or not strangers are welcome.
I have a lot of photographs to sort through, but today I'll start with Kramer's Barber Shop. I was interested in the shop from the moment I saw it. So well maintained it looked almost purely a set design. It was closed, and after photographing from the outside for a few minutes the owner approached us and let us in. The man stuttered a bit and was eager to show us the shop but appeared confused as to why we were there. After muttering for a few minutes about Rib Eye Steaks and letting us photograph, he informed us that we were to be on our way- and he disappeared to the back of the store. We hurried out.
